Drawing from "traditional fairy tales and images of femininity" the YDE by Ole Yde Spring 2016 collection unveiled a variety of surprises during the brand's runway show in Copenhagen. Chief among them, at least to my "American" eye, were the clever twists on denim that brought the fabric to a whole new level of formality via well cut jackets that echoed classic Chanel in tailoring. Other favorite elements of the collection included, neck "ruffs" on workwear and the spectacular geometric prints towards the end of the presentation.
