Light-hearted and packed with charming whimsy, the beauty and hair look created for the O'2nd Spring 2016 collection was fresh, natural and one that can easily translate to real life. So real in fact, that the masters from Cutler Salon, led by key stylist Noah Hatton, seemed to be taking a cue from the electrical charge in the air on Wednesday morning that was due to incoming thunder storms, and added actual static to model's hair as a finishing touch.
How was this done? Exactly how you did it as a kid; balloons were gently rubbed on the crown of heads until the baby hairs stood up. Before the balloons however, Redken Fashion Work 12 was used to give hair grip, then Redken Quick Tease 15 added volume and a super modern matte finish. After the balloons, Redken Forceful 23 was used to finish the look and block humidity.
On the beauty side of the room, the look was soft, pretty and also natural, with major whimsy added via strategically placed flower stickers that gave the impression of just "blooming" across model's cheeks, foreheads, necks, shoulders and hands.
The look was completed by a petal-pink nail color from Red Carpet Nail Lacquer smoothed on to a gently rounded nail.
