The fusion of inorganic and organic elements made for an intriguing inspiration at the Hanae Mori Manuscrit Fall 2016 collection. Designer Yu Amatsu deftly blended these two ideas into small vignettes within the collection, some showcasing his more minimalistic side, while others showed off his skill at using art-quality prints in big ways. Bold geographic prints in rich bordeauxs and forest greens melded into monochromatic looks that then shifted into the final 'organic' nature inspired orchid and classic Hanae Mori butterfly print section. The seamless flow of the collection, and the sheer variety of options offered, really proved how well Amatsu knows his customer and how perfectly fitted he is to helm the iconic label.
