Britian based label CUTECIRCUIT is one of several labels showing in New York this season, that seems to be focusing on wearable tech. CUTECIRCUIT, however, moved the wearable tech game to a new level with pieces that not only incorporated technology (via LED light created patterns) but also added an element of social media via the promise of an 'app' that will allow the costumer to switch up their wardrobe using their smart phones.

In a brief talk before the collection was shown, the CUTECIRCUIT team, Creative Director Francesca Rosella, and CEO Ryan Genz, explained the idea of the collection as interactive and inventive and inspired by the spirit of social media. "With a few key strokes" Rosella told the audience "You can change the look of your garments, and imagine it can all be done from your phone."

The changeability of the collection was definitely a novel idea, and although we have seen LED light generated patterns previously, this was the first time, to our knowledge, that the consumers are being offered this ability. And who doesn't want changeability? The fun, and the practicality of this is easy to imagine.

Here are just a handful of our favorite shots from the show.
