Dear Haikusue:
I am quickly approaching my 40th birthday, and feel like I am having a mid-life crisis. I spent my 20s getting "a good job" and working hard. My 30's have been all about getting promotions, settling down with my awesome boyfriend (we got married ) and feeling like a real grown up. But now I kinda feel like I am missing out. I don't have anything that is my 'passion' in life creatively speaking work wise. I don't want to go through life as just another office drone, but at the same time it feels too late to find a creative outlet (and I'm not sure I have any creative talent anyway!) I don't want to start a blog, or embarrass myself auditioning for community theater, or invest tons of money into a musical instrument that I have zero talent for, but I do want to find something I can enjoy and develop as a creative hobby. I have no idea how to figure out what I should pursue, where can I start?
Signed,
Don't wanna be a drone in Noe Valley
