Dear Haikusue:
I've lived in and loved my apartment for he last five years. It's a great space, in a great nabe, super cute and rent controlled! But unfortunately my new neighbor is a total nightmare. I consider myself pretty laid back, and not the kind to complain about normal noise, but the crap this guy has been pulling is way outside of normal. From drinking binges that end with blasting Johnny Cash and singing along loudly, to randoms knocking on my door at 4am "mistaking" my apartment for his, I am at the end of my rope. I've complained to the management company several times but they don't seem to want to handle it. I've even tried asking the neighbor himself to chill out a little and he responds with more yelling and on a couple of occasions barely veiled threats. I am so angry that this douche is making me consider leaving my beloved place, but at the same time I don't know how much more of this I can take. Help!
