Dear Haikuse:
Over the past year or so I have been on a mission to make myself over. I lost a little weight, changed my hair color and have been slowly rehabbing my wardrobe. I've read all the Tim Gunn/What Not to Wear books so I knew how to begin, i.e. buying a few high-quality basics and slowly throwing out all my cheap Forever21 stuff, and other trashy too trendy pieces. But now I'm stuck. I look in my closet and all I see is black pencil skirts and neutral tops! I've become totally boring? How do I get my personality back into my wardrobe without looking like a fast-fashion chain threw up all over me?
Signed,
