The Fall 2014 A Degree Fahrenheit collection was a minimalistic symphony of clean lines and a soft color palette. Style Wylde was lucky enough to go backstage at the show and watch the team from L'Oreal Nihon create an elaborate hair and beauty look that provided contrast to the pieces, and perfectly emphasized the simplicity of the collection.
As a first prep for the look, L'Oreal Nihon stylists applied L'Oreal Texture Expert True Grip texturizing powder to the model's hair, and then divided sections into multi-mini braids. Next stylists, pressed each individual braid with a flat iron to really 'set' the waves and followed with a generous spray of Elnett Hairspray. When hair had cooled and set, the L'Oreal team 'ruffled' the braids out in to soft, beachy waves. Finally hair was twisted and wrapped into a loose woven braid, with select pieces left out to frame the face. To match this done-undone hair style, the beauty featured beautifully perfect skin and a subtle lip with a huge pop of blue-green color around the eye.
