Backstage at the Demoo Parkchoonmoo Spring 2016 collection teams from René Furterer (led by Rita Marmor) and Shiseido (led by Colleen Runné) worked quickly, like well oiled machines to create the sleek and futuristic but not "hard" look created to compliment the collection. Hair was smoothed into a deep side part using Rene Furterer Vegetal Mousse and Vegtal Finishing Spray. It was then pulled into a multi-section pony (for longer hair) flat ironed and finished with Rene Furterer Glossing Spray. While this was going on, over on the Shiseido side of the room make-up was kept ultra minimal with only a dark-waterlined eye emphasized and skin left natural with only the most minimal concealer used where absolutely necessary. (see Shiseido notes below)
With the completion of the eye, the look was sleek, minimal and finished for the show. Or it seemed. However, in one of the most unusual moves we saw all week, part way through the Demoo Parkchoonmoo show, the hair team added white body makeup to the crown of heads along the part on the last 13 models to walk, for a surprising pop of interest.
