Nostalgia, femininity, and the wonderment of childhood discovery all played a part in the fantastic Tiit Tokyo Fall 2017 collection which showed at Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo on Monday night. The looks played on the idea of construction turned upside down and inside out, with inner-wear pieces sometimes appearing over heavier layers and with tons of charming laced up details suggesting corsetry on wrists and backs. Tweed was also a major element, which seeing as this is the Fall/Winter show seemed like a classic choice, but was embellished with silken ribbons which read "Tiit Tokyo Loves Shiseido" woven throughout the fabric for a fun, whimsical feel.
