Designer Yu Amatsu is best known for his edgy street-inspired A Degree Fahrenheit label. But since taking the design helm at iconic label Hanae Mori, Amatsu has proven he is much, much more than an 'urban casual' designer. His Fall 2015 Hanae Mori collection was a spectacular tour de force of pieces that were delicately detailed in lace, silk, furs and tweeds. In addition to the beautiful craftsmanship in his work, Amatsu also proved he has a flare for theatrics, unveiling his work in the cavernous Hikarie Hall A, with a wall of mirrors as a backdrop, the collection was as dramatic as it was perfectly executed.
