From shark bitten fingernails to crystal encrusted corsets The Blonds Spring 2013 runway show was a pull-out-all-the-stops party befitting the brands dynamic duo designers. Centered around a beach party with a darkside edge, or "psycho beach party" as one nail artist backstage described it, the collection had a fantastic array of oceanic inspired corsets, briefs, swimsuits, dresses, and shorts all with trademark The Blonds touches such as heavy beading and tongue-in-cheek details such as shark bite patterns and lipstick prints.
Always fashion week's biggest party, this season at The Blonds felt especially festive with the expected crowd of New York socialites, artists, musicians and club kids joined by more than a few TV personalities and even Paris Hilton herself on hand to cheer (and snap a LOT of iPhone photos) for the collection.
