Inspired by both the city of Barcelona and African heritage, the Denibi Spring 2017 collection was a lovely blend of modern minimalism and wearable art, that included an actual art piece titled "Nostalgia" created by the design team. The official run of show notes explained, "The main inspiration of the brand came from the single ebony wood mask named Nostalgia. That is our main source of inspiration. Its minimalism, its meaning and its aesthetic is what developed our entire collection. Nostalgia is also the first piece of art that we ever made."
