It might sound like a strange road to go from Grateful Dead follower/tie dye tee-shirt maker to high fashion designer, but that is exactly the road Matiere designer, Scot Shandalove took to get him where he is today; showing at New York Fashion Week Men's. His Spring 2017 collection, which was inspired by San Francisco, incorporated plenty of modern nautical details and stylized hippy accents on a streamlined background of wearable basics.
