Multi-award winning designer Bibhu Mohapatra has proven his talent for taking an unusual inspiration and creating exquisite design that blends his cultural background with a hyper modern point of view, season after season.
For Spring 2013, Mohapatra drew on Metamorphosis, and the luna moth to represent the ever-evolving Bibhu woman. This metaphor was carried through in a myriad of ways, including the actual pieces themselves which 'evolved' from prismatic prints on sleek daywear to the ultra-glamourous, delicate hand beaded gowns for which the designer is adored.
