Global warming, growing consumption of finite resources, and the dire warnings from the Arconsanti Foundation highlighted the press notes at the Nicholas K Fall 2016 show, where design duo (and siblings) Christopher and Nicholas Kunz were in fully in their element, sending look after supremely complex look down the runway in a storm of blacks, plums, grays, and neutrals. The effect was hyper cool, and just a bit menacing which made it all the more delicious to behold. Elaborate, dramatic, and well executed it was one of our favorite offerings from the pair in many seasons.
