New York: Timo Weiland Women's Fall 2015

A brand known for being young, hip and accessible to a wide variety of consumers, the Timo Weiland Women's Fall 2015 collection took a turn towards arthouse chic with designers Timo Weiland, Alan Eckstein and  Donna Kang drawing on "the early work of photographer, Saul Leiter; specifically the artist’s photographs of a 1940’s-1950’s New York City" as an inspiration. The result: a hyper-cool, laid back, and totally Timo Weiland collection that was downright lust-worthy.

But before we get to those lust-worthy looks, let's take a peek at some of the behind the scenes prep, and celebs in the audience (both integral parts to any fashion event!)

First the hair, make-up, and nails. Teams from MAC, Davines, and Zoya worked furiously backstage to create the perfect look for the Timo girl, one that "evoked relaxed simplicity" via neutral toned make-up and a satin finished nail color that is specially formulated to work best on its own without base or top coats!

While all that was going on backstage, the audience was filling up with the expected editorial big-shots, New York's hip gallery crowd, plenty of actors, actresses, and pop-star Ke$ha who drew a giant crowd of fans on to the runway before the show.
