Star power
Innovative and supremely well executed the Mikio Sakabe Spring 2018 collection epitomized everything that is fantastic about Japanese design, and everything that has made Tokyo a 'city to watch' in the eyes of the global fashion media. The looks were based on suiting, but incorporated a wide range of exaggerated shapes, and unusual silhouettes as well as bold color and a smattering of small, traditionally inspired, prints. The overall effect was simply stunning.
