Tokyo: Yuma Koshino Fall 2016

A member of the multi-generational fashion family dynasty, which includes Hiroko Koshino and Michko Koshino, Yuma Koshino has been holding her own in the Tokyo style scene since launching her namesake label in 1998. For the Fall 2016 season Koshino built on her brand ideal of "spiritual luxury" with a series of colorful, geometric and floral pattern infused separates that held to her aesthetic of comfortable, wearable style. Bell-shaped sleeves on boxy minis and layers of flowing overcoats hinted at a 1970's American boho inspiration, while mandarin collars and more modest cuts kept the looks firmly rooted in Asia. The end result was an appealing global style that will definitely speak to a wide variety of women.
