South Korean designer Bumsuk Choi looked toward the global traveler of today and the possibly intergalactic traveler of the future as inspiration for his General Idea Spring 2017 collection. Pieces ran the gamut between sharply tailored and deconstructed while looks balanced volume and graphics for a throughly futuristic feel. Clever tongue-n-cheek touches like "Sunset on Mars" written across torsos and models wheeling actual luggage on the runway gave the whole event a fun, and more light-hearted feel than Choi has presented in past seasons.
