Punk culture was a clear influence and inspiration for the Acuod by Chanu Fall 2017 collection, which featured black and white leather jackets, satin bombers, embellished leggings and gender-bending skirts all with zipper details. Designer Chanwoo Lee's trademark leather and zipper face-masks were also present in every look, giving the show a "Bondage-Chic" vibe that was both a little unsettling and easily identified as one of the main reasons the label is so popular with the young, rebellious fashion loving crowd. And although there was not a huge variety between the looks, the pieces were very well designed and tailored, and judging from the reaction of the crowd (and the number of attendees wearing Acuod by Chanu SS17 looks) it's clear the designer knows his customer, and knows them well.
