Tokyo: ha-ha Fall 2017

Known for eccentric, highly conceptual collections, the ha-ha brand has been wildly popular with fashionistas and fashion photographers for years. This season, which is only the second production by the ha-ha design team which replaced Takafumi Tsuruta, was no exception. Building on the concepts of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, globalism and development, the team created a bright and energetic collection that was high on whimsical charm. Clearly not intended for the bashful fashionista the looks were elaborate, and often played on volume, but were ultimately highly successful and easily pictured on the backs of young and bold fashion fans from New York to Tokyo and everywhere in between.
