Models wore "star kissed" points on cheeks and foreheads, and glittering shoes at the 4 Corners of a Circle Spring 2013 Runway, but there were no cheesy Vegas showgirl vibes at this presentation; these clothes were the peak of subtle Japanese style.
Understated, and slightly deconstructed, the starlike "galaxy print" which was deftly woven throughout the show added just a hint of whimsical charm to the pastel palette of signature cropped pants, pleated shorts, short but voluminous skirts, and expertly draped tops.
Shown in by far the largest venue and shown to by far the largest audience since the label made its debut in New York two seasons ago, 4 Corners of a Circle is clearly a brand on its way up, and the Spring 2013 collection made that point beautifully.
Here are a few of our favorite shots from the collection.
