As the opening show of Copenhagen Fashion Week Spring 2024, A. Roege Hove not only set the pace as far as trends go, the brand also set what was going to become the defining feature of the week: pouring rain. But the precipitation did nothing to dampen the spirits of the design team who decided the outdoor show must go on.

And go on it did, with the audience clad in raincoats and holding umbrellas, and the models bravely taking on the slippery cobble stones in the courtyard of the Danish Design Museum, never stumbling, or showing even the slightest discomfort to the cold. The result was a spectacular opening show for the cult Danish lingerie label. The pieces were well executed and beautifully presented, and the brand’s sultry transparent looks were able to shine, despite the atmospheric drama.
