A competition for fashion students, Designer's Nest is described as "Under the patronage of HRH Princess Mary, an award created to reward a particularly skilled and promising design-student with an accolade from the established world of fashion and design." But in reality it is much more than that, it serves as a sneak peek into the future of fashion design and as a hint to just who may be the big industry stars in years to come. Although only four students were recognized at the finish of the runway presentation (first, second, and third runners up and the overall winner) all the collections were impressive with their ingenuity, construction and rampant creativity, which made Designer's Nest easily one of the best student shows to seen in any country.
