Trip of a lifetime haiku

Dear Haikusue:

Ever since I was a kid I dreamed of traveling around the world as especially through Japan and Southeast Asia. All through college I thought I'd meet a great guy who wanted to see the world too, and we'd backpack around the globe together and then have a cool private wedding on the beach in Thailand... or something like that. WELL that never happened. I interned with non-profits right out of school and then got a really good job at one and never made it to my backpacking dream, or my dream guy. I am 29 now and will turn 30 in December. I decided over the summer that I didn't want to wait any longer for my dream trip, especially now that school debts are gone and I've saved up tons of vacation time. So I set it all up so that I can spend all next month before my 30th birthday seeing all the places I've always wanted to see.  Sounds great right? Problem is, even though I am super excited to go, I am suddenly overwhelmed with worry. Suddenly, even though I've done my research it seems foolish to go alone, and I feel like the whole thing is gonna be one long lonely trek. Should I have waited to do this with someone I love? Is my trip gonna be a nightmare? I can't stop worrying help!

Signed,

Dear Traveler:

Like pending vows

A big trip can make feet cold

Breathe deep, and go!
