After seeing collections on the catwalk inside Hikarie Hall's cavernous space known as "Hall A" all week, it was a surprise to find the hair and make-up teams for the TAAKK Fall 2017 show had themselves taken over the space before the show. As it turned out, despite being billed as a Hall A show, the actual runway would take place in a different area altogether (more on that later) leaving the huge theater-like venue available to act as a backstage.

This made a great setting for hair and beauty, with gorgeous theatrical lighting and plenty of space for everyone to work (and shoot!). To make things even better, there was something about being on the "big" runway that made the atmosphere almost giddy, as if everyone was getting away being somewhere they weren't quite supposed to be; and everyone was having a fantastic time doing it.
